Helpdesk Support Technician 

We are looking for a Helpdesk Support Technician to take care of our customers IT challenges. You will be the soothing voice to calm their nerves, solve their problems and make them feel better about their day. Being in control, able to take on any kind of problem and ask for help when you need it are important attributes. This role is crucial at triaging and delegating incoming jobs to the right staff to assist with Technical issues and faults.

Being able to be efficient, coordinated and well organised are crucial elements to ensure you maintain our high standards. Above all: we do what we say and hold true to our word so we can deliver and exceed expectations. This role if front line and hence it is of vital importance that you have a great speaking voice and are easy to understand, that you are to the point and able to listen carefully to what clients and staff say.

  • 1-3 years experience in a commercial IT environment or similar 
  • Able to prioritise and self manage 
  • Able to escalate when required
  • Customer service skills beyond reproach 
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Office 365 in a small to medium business environment 
  • Experience with setting up Broadband/Fibre Routers/Access Points 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change essential 

The hours are: 8:30 – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The role is 40 hours per week. 

The renumeration rate is depending on your market experience. You must have a right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position and you need to hold a valid New Zealand drivers licence. Please note that all successful candidates will be Police vetted.
 


Systems Engineer 

We are looking for a full time Systems Engineer to help us deploy solutions to our clients. You will have a good experience of server and networking technology and how cloud-based services can enable the modern work place. We would like you to:

- assist with, and lead, migrations to Microsoft 365

- work on executing roll outs of computer equipment

- assist the helpdesk with troubleshooting

- work as a team player to support colleagues and get Project work completed

- have relevant work experience to show evidence of a strong ability to problem solve and think on your feet

 

The hours are: 8:30 – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The role is 40 hours per week with options for on-call and weekend work. 

There will be some travel required to client sites in the region.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent customer service skills/customer empathy 
  • Able to prioritise, self manage and delegate 
  • 3+ years experience in a commercial IT environment or Managed Service Provider 
  • Proven track record of implementing SaaS for commercial clients (Office 365, Google Docs etc) 
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune/MDM advantageous 
  • Experience in set up and configuration of Routers/Switches/Access Pointsand Networking 
  • Track record of diagnosing complex technical problems with desktops, e-mails and internet connectivity 
  • Commercial/Financial awareness advantageous
  • Evidence of willingness to develop your skills and further Professional Training.
